President/Treasurer

 Edward Whitlock is the founder and president of New Roots Family Foundation. A longtime Topeka business owner and housing provider, Edward brings years of hands-on experience in property management, home rehabilitation, and serving the local community. He founded New Roots with the belief that families facing difficult circumstances deserve a safe, stable place to regain their footing and begin rebuilding their lives. 

Secretary/Community Director

 Ashley Billings brings more than 13 years of experience in healthcare administration, where she coordinates complex scheduling and works closely with patients, providers, and medical teams. Her attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage important responsibilities help support the effective operation and governance of New Roots Family Foundation. 

Vic President/Community Director

 Pete Whitlock brings experience from his career with Boeing, along with a strong commitment to family, community involvement, and helping others. His practical perspective, attention to detail, and experience serving as a trustee within his Masonic lodge bring valuable organizational and community insight to the New Roots Family Foundation Board of Directors.

Community Director

 Ray Eckhoff brings a practical, thoughtful approach to the New Roots Family Foundation Board of Directors. Known for being financially responsible and resourceful, Ray offers a grounded perspective that supports careful decision-making, responsible stewardship, and the effective use of Foundation resources to serve families in need.
